A Ship-owner company donates to fix schools in Medellin through TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. ~A handing-over ceremony was held on the 30th September~
Before 2013 ended two terrible calamities came to the Philippines that greatly affected the lives of many Filipinos living in the Visayas Island. The 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Bohol and the super typhoon Yolanda in Northern Cebu has put Filipino’s resiliency to test.
A Ship-owner company and one of the clients of TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. donated 75,000 USD through TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. for the repair and rehabilitation of school buildings in Medellin located in the northern Cebu. A total of 13 classrooms—9 at Caputatan Norte Elementary School and 4 at Dayhagon Elementary School were repaired and a handing-over ceremony was held on the 30th September at Caputatan Norte Elementary School.
The mayor of Medellin Hon. Ricardo Ramon Rodriguez Ramirez III, TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. Manager Mr. Hirohisa Kinoshita, respective school heads, and representatives from the Department of Education signed the MOA. Medellin Mayor Hon. Ramirez III was very thankful to Ship-owner company represented by TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. for the assistance given to two elementary schools of Medellin.
