Third-Party Assurance

We have obtained third-party assurance in accordance with ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, GRI Standards, and ISAE 3000 from the NIPPON KAIJI KYOKAI (ClassNK) regarding the total group CO2 emissions and consumption of resources.

  • The balance of intergroup transactions recorded as duplicates has been adjusted.
  • For the emissions from the delivered vessels in the shipbuilding business, based on the assumption that the vessels have a lifespan of 25 years, the emmisions over the entire life cycle of the vesssels are calculated in accordance with the GHG Protocol and allcocated to these fiscal years.

Employee Data

  • "Other employees" refers to employees who are directly employed by the Group under defined contract period (e.g. contract, part-time, and short-term contract employees).

Proportion of positions held by women

  • It refers to the percentage of career-track positions held by women. Career track refers to a group of jobs covering a wide range of general and specialized tasks, where the job-holders are subject to transfer and reassingnment.
  • It refers to the proportion of managerial positions held by women. Managerial positions are defined as career-track positions at the level of section chief and higher.

Employee support programs

  • Percentage of male employees eligible for taking childcare leave in the corresponding year.
  • Number of employees who used the short-time work system for childcare in the corresponding year.

Companies included in the calculation scope

  • * Akishima Laboratory Inc., SANYOTSUSHO, and UESUGI GIKEN KOGYO are not included in the environmental data.
  • * TFC, FUTABA SANKYO, YOSHIDA, and CTI are not included in the human resources data.
