TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. receives certification from the Philippine Red Cross
TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. (head office: Buanoy,Balamban,Cebu,Philippines) held two batches of training with The Philippine Red Cross (Lapu-Lapu /Cordova Chapter).The first batch of training was held last May 28-29, 2014 with 20 participants and the second batch was on July 24-25, 2014 with 19 in attendance.
This course teaches the first aid skills a person needs to act as the first link in the emergency medical services (EMS) system.The participants were taught of the basic and practical lifesaving skills they can apply during workplace emergencies.
Also, this training includes treating wounds and burns, recognizing and controlling bleeding, immobilizing fractures, moving and lifting victims, and other basic lifesaving skills. As part of the training, all the participants underwent a written examination and an actual simulation to test their knowledge and skills during emergency situations.
All those who passed the training requirements were given PRC Annual Membership with Accident Benefits (Premier Bronze), certification for the company and an ID certifying the bearer as authorized first aider.
This course started from 2010, There were 99 TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. employees who attended the training and 98 employees were certified by the certification from the Philippine Red Cross.
