THI Conducts School Improvement Activities at Local Elementary School – Helping Children Welcome the New School Year in a Better Learning Environment –
16 May 2026 – TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. (THI), the Philippine shipbuilding base of TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING Co., Ltd., carried out repair and repainting activities at Cantibas Elementary School.
This initiative is conducted annually as part of the TSUNEISHI Group’s educational support activities for local communities. This year, 177 employees participated as volunteers.
Ahead of the new school year starting on 8 June, volunteers repaired and repainted classrooms to help create a more comfortable learning environment for students.

With favourable weather throughout the day, the participants took part in classroom repairs, repainting work, and refurbishment of desks and chairs.
After completing the improvements, the participants expressed a sense of accomplishment as they looked over the refreshed school learning environment.
THI will continue working closely with local communities and supporting the development of future generations through community-based initiatives.
