TSUNEISHI MIRAI COLLEGE
TSUNEISHI MIRAI COLLEGE
At the Tsuneishi Group, we are committed to putting people at the center of everything we do.
We want every employee to find happiness in their work. Alongside acquiring the knowledge and skills needed for their jobs, we want them to reflect on themselves and grow as individuals through diverse experiences and encounters with others.
We believe that supporting each employee’s personal journey is an important part of our role as a company. With this in mind, we established Tsuneishi Mirai College as a place for employees to learn and connect.
Employees explore their individuality, connect with colleagues, and encounter unfamiliar worlds and values. Through opportunities to learn from one another across positions, job functions, and group companies, they broaden their horizons and discover new possibilities.
Learning is organized around three pillars.
Exploring “Who I Am” — Self-Discovery
Through varied experiences and settings, employees are encouraged to explore their thoughts, feelings, and inner lives. How do I want to live? What kind of career do I want to build? We create opportunities to pause and reflect on these questions.
Reflecting on “Who We Are” — Tsuneishi Studies
Through the history of the Tsuneishi Group and defining episodes in its story, employees explore what makes Tsuneishi unique. They deepen their understanding of the culture and values passed down through the years and consider what lies ahead for the Group.
Developing the Ability to Shape the Future — Sensibility and Intellect
By exploring developments around the world and in society, and engaging with knowledge from diverse fields, employees cultivate empathy, sensibility, and creativity. They develop the ability to think from their own perspective in a changing society.
One of the settings for this learning is Shinshoji Temple in Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture.
Surrounded by nature and tranquility, employees connect with history and take part in experiences outside their everyday routines, including zazen (seated meditation) and samu (work as a form of Zen practice). Beyond acquiring knowledge and skills, these experiences offer opportunities for self-reflection, personal growth, and the development of a richer sensibility.
Through learning and encounters with others, the Tsuneishi Group is creating an environment in which employees can gain experiences beyond their work, enrich their lives as individuals, and explore their potential.
TATOU SCHOOL by TSUNEISHI MIRAI COLLEGE
TATOU SCHOOL is one of the programs offered by Tsuneishi Mirai College.
Held primarily at TATOU TSUNEISHI in Hibiya, Tokyo, the program invites guest speakers from a range of fields, including cultural figures, creative professionals, and business leaders, for live lectures and dialogue.
By introducing ideas and values that employees would not ordinarily encounter in their day-to-day work or within the company, the program offers opportunities to gain fresh perspectives.
Engaging with the Wider World
Employees learn about the ideas and working approaches of speakers active in diverse fields. These encounters provide opportunities to consider society, work, and themselves from new angles.
Dialogue Across Companies and Departments
Participants do more than listen to lectures. They share their impressions and insights with one another, deepening their understanding of diverse viewpoints through dialogue across companies and departments.
Putting Learning into Action
Participants have opportunities to reflect on how the insights gained from lectures and dialogue relate to their own work and everyday actions. This process can spark new ideas and connections across companies and departments.
By creating opportunities to encounter diverse knowledge and values from outside the Group, the Tsuneishi Group is broadening each employee’s horizons and developing an environment that encourages fresh ideas and the willingness to take on new challenges.
