TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU) Brings Families Together with Colourful and Joyful Family Day Celebration
TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. (THI), the Philippine manufacturing base of TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING Co., Ltd. held its annual Family Day event on 19 July, welcoming approximately 3,000 attendees, including employees and their families.
The event was designed to foster a deeper understanding of the company’s culture among employees and their loved ones, while promoting a positive work-life balance. By strengthening the connections between workplace and home life, the initiative aims to help employees lead more fulfilling lives.
This year’s Family Day featured a T-shirt designed by an employee, selected through an internal competition. Adorned with a cherry blossom motif, the shirt set the tone for the event, with the venue beautifully decorated in vibrant shades of pink.
A special stage programme provided entertainment throughout the day, including a karaoke competition, a costume contest, a character show, and an orchestral performance. These performances created a lively and heartwarming atmosphere for all in attendees.
In addition to the stage events, a range of attractions unique to THI’s Family Day—such as a merry-go-round, spinning aerial ride, and slides—were made available, delighting both children and adults alike.
