Shipping Business
Connecting the world using a range of transport modes
Our focus is the shipping business, including regular container service connecting local ports in Japan with major ports in China. As a non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC), we provide comprehensive international marine logistics services using ports across Japan, from customs clearance to cargo delivery. We are also reducing the environmental impact of each transportation process by lowering the resulting greenhouse gas emissions. This is done by introducing vessels with advanced technology and by providing modal shift options by switching cargo to greener land-based transport modes.
Shipbuilding Business
Creating new trends in next-generation ships
We have a system for building new ships in three countries — Japan, the Philippines, and China — and we provide vessels that help support lifestyles in Japan. With a focus on medium-sized bulk carriers that are optimal for international transportation, we also build container ships, tankers, passenger ships, and fishing boats. We even build ships that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Moreover, we have built a leading ship repair network across Japan in cooperation with partner companies, so we can service a wide range of ships. Our aim is to maximize vessel lifespans and their value.
Trading & Energy Business
Adding value to infrastructure that links to the future
Trading & Energy is a segment formed in January 2024 by the merger of three companies, TSUNEISHI C VALUES CORPORATION, Tsuneishi Trading Co., Ltd., and TSUNEISHI CAPITAL PARTNERS . We will further exert our strengths as a trading company to help resolve various issues regarding the infrastructure that supports daily life and more. We aim to evolve into a solutions company and to create new businesses that will create more abundant communities and societies for future generations.
Environment Business
Aiming to achieve a sustainable society
The environmental business has established a value chain from waste analysis to collection, transport, treatment and recycling based on the concept of 'not a single thing is wasted'. We offer a comprehensive waste treatment service. We actively reuse thermal energy generated during the treatment process and recycle waste. We also promote the development of new recycling technologies and contribute to the realization of a recycling-oriented society.
Life & Resorts Business
Enhancing the value of Setouchi for the future
The TSUNEISHI Group’s Life & Resorts Business was launched out of a desire to enhance the value of the Setouchi region and revitalize the local community. Today, through guntû, a little hotel floating on the Seto Inland Sea, the renovated historic buildings of ONOMICHI U2, LOG, and Setouchi Minato no Yado , as well as MIROKU-NO-SATO, an amusement park surrounded by the forest, and TSUNEISHI Shimanami Village, the largest accommodation-type training facility in the Chugoku region, we continue to create new value that is passed on to the next generation.

Toward creating a better society
The TSUNEISHI Group has advocated “Being one with the community” since its founding. Based on this spirit, we have continued to engage in activities in close partnership with the community and society. These include establishing schools, hospitals, and farms, providing disaster assistance and support for areas affected by disasters, and developing human resources for future generations. In January 2025, we launched a new segment that seeks to extend our contributions beyond business activities to the sustainable development of society. Through a wide range of social contribution activities aimed at supporting local communities and the next generation, and initiatives spanning diverse fields such as education, environment, and culture, we will proactively promote the development of a society that can further enrich the lives of people and communities.
