18 January 2026 – TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING INC. (TZS), the Chinese shipyard of TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING Co., Ltd., held its Employee General Meeting. Under the theme “Taking a New Step Forward and Challenging the Future”, the meeting provided an important opportunity for employees to share the company’s vision and strengthen unity across the organisation.

During the meeting, Mr MURAKAMI Yoshifumi as President and Director of TZS, and Mr TAKAHASHI Manabu, Factory General Manager, reviewed the achievements of the previous fiscal year and outlined business policies for the new year ahead, clearly presenting the company’s future direction and priorities going forward.

Following the meeting, a traditional Japanese Kagami-biraki (sake barrel opening ceremony) was held. Mr KONO Hitoshi, Chairman of the Board of TZS, together with Mr MURAKAMI, members of the management team and invited guests, opened a sake barrel to offer prayers for the health and well-being of employees and their families. After a toast by Mr KONO, participants renewed their commitment to the company’s continued growth and positive future.

A video highlighting vessels completed over the past year, along with various on-site initiatives, was also presented. From the launching of large vessels to their delivery, the footage showcased once again the ingenuity, dedication, and teamwork of employees across the shipyard.

In the latter part of the event, employee performances and a raffle draw were held. The grand prize winner was announced by Mr MURAKAMI, while additional prizes were presented by Mr KONO. More than 100 employees received prizes as tokens of appreciation and encouragement for their daily efforts. The meeting concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with participants sharing a renewed sense of unity.
