TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING INC. (hereinafter “TZS”), the Chinese subsidiary of TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING, held a complimentary health consultation event for employees at its premises in Zhoushan, China. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with the local government of Xiushan Township—where the shipyard is located—and the Health Bureau, which oversees public health and hygiene policies. The team of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) specialists from Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou was invited to deliver the consultations. The visiting team included doctoral-level researchers and highly qualified practitioners.

The event was met with strong interest from employees, many of whom actively took part in one-on-one consultations. These sessions included pulse diagnoses and personalized interviews, offering tailored advice on a wide range of health concerns, including general wellness, sub-health symptom, and chronic conditions.
In addition, therapeutic treatments such as acupuncture and cupping were administered on-site to help alleviate fatigue and physical discomfort. These treatments were well received, with many participants expressing high levels of satisfaction and appreciation for the experience.

Employees noted that opportunities to receive TCM consultations are rare and shared that the event allowed them to reassess their physical condition and gain practical knowledge for maintaining their health.
