TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING”) announces that, as of 30 June 2025, it has acquired all shares of Mitsui E&S Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. from MITSUI E&S Co., Ltd., making it a wholly owned subsidiary. In line with this, and as previously announced on 26 June, Mitsui E&S Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has changed its name to TSUNEISHI SOLUTIONS TOKYOBAY Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “TSUNEISHI SOLUTIONS”).

Since entering into a capital alliance in October 2021, TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING and TSUNEISHI SOLUTIONS have collaborated to leverage the synergies of cost competitiveness and technological expertise. In light of the need for further integration to ensure sustainable growth and enhanced competitiveness in the future, TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING has decided to proceed with the full acquisition.

Moving forward, both companies will continue to maximise their respective strengths and strive to further enhance corporate value.
