KAMBARA & TSUNEISHI FOUNDATION

ARCHITECTURAL CULTURE

The Kambara & Tsuneishi Architectural Culture Foundation understands architectural culture to encompass the landscapes that unfold from architecture, the wisdom and techniques embedded in people’s lives and everyday practices, and the memories layered over time in each place. Through its activities, the Foundation works to carry this heritage forward into the landscapes of the future.

KAMBARA & TSUNEISHI SPORTS FOUNDATION

WATER SPORTS

Set against the rich natural environment and waters of the Seto Inland Sea, the Kambara & Tsuneishi Sports Foundation promotes youth development, regional revitalisation and international exchange through water sports. By providing opportunities to experience the appeal of the sea, the Foundation continues to expand a circle of exchange that connects people with one another and local communities with the world.

KAMBARA & TSUNEISHI IKUEI FOUNDATION

EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT

The Kambara & Tsuneishi Scholarship Foundation provides educational support so that students working towards their dreams and goals are not forced to give up learning for financial reasons. By expanding access to education, the Foundation helps nurture individuals who will shape the future of people and society.

SHINSHOZENJI

ZEN CULTURE

Shinshozenji is dedicated to the study and practice of Zen.
Through everyday practices such as zazen meditation, samu (mindful work), tea, food and flower arrangement, visitors can encounter the spirit of Zen and experience it for themselves. As a gateway to Zen practice, Shinshoji brings that spirit to life in the present and carries Japan’s Zen culture into the future.
