16 January 2026 – TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING and KAMBARA KISEN have been selected as the naming rights holder for the No.1 Lecture Room aboard the large training vessel SEIUN MARU, owned by the Japan agency of Maritime Education and Training for Seafarers (JMETS).

The naming rights programme will be implemented in collaboration with KAMBARA KISEN, a member of the TSUNEISHI Group. Under the agreement, No.1 Lecture Room aboard the SEIUN MARU will be named the “TSUNEISHI ROOM” for a three-year period from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029.

The name “TSUNEISHI ROOM” reflects the Group’s wish to contribute to the development of maritime professionals who support the future of the maritime industry. It was chosen in the hope that the Lecture Room will become a place where cadets training aboard SEIUN MARU can freely challenge themselves and grow together by deepening their knowledge and technical skills.

Through shipbuilding, TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING has long contributed to the growth of the maritime industry. With this initiative, TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING and KAMBARA KISEN will further strengthen our collaboration with educational institutions and continue to support the development of future maritime professionals.
