Alongside an improved hull form and the Group\u2019s proprietary energy-saving technology, MT-FAST*1, the adoption of a large-capacity shaft generator enables this dual-fuel vessel to achieve both top-class loading capacity and outstanding fuel efficiency, even when compared with conventional fuel oil vessels in the same segment. This vessel has been developed based on the concept of a \u201cfinal solution\u201d towards achieving zero CO\u2082 emissions through the use of green methanol*2. Not only the main engine but also the on-board generators \u2013 including the HiMSEN engine (8H32DF-LM) manufactured by HD Hyundai \u2013 are capable of operating on methanol fuel. In addition, the vessel is equipped with systems compatible with large-capacity shore power supply, enabling the generators to be shut down while in port, thereby further accelerating CO\u2082 reduction.
