TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU) Gives Support to Landslide-stricken Area in Naga City on Cebu Island
TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. (Abbr.: THI; Location: Balamban, Cebu, Philippines; President: Akihiko Mishima) donated relief supplies to Naga City on Cebu Island, which suffered severe damage due to large-scale landslides that occurred on September 21.
Wishing the people of Naga restore and reconstruct from the damage as soon as possible, on behalf of THI, Mr. Hirohisa Kinoshita, General Manager of General Affairs Dept. sent the relief supplies to Naga City.
Donated relief supplies included:
・100 sets of support packages
(5 kilograms of rice, noodles, biscuits, powdered milk, canned food, etc.)
・1000 bottles of drinking water
・363 T-shirts
Ms. KRISTINE CHIONG, Mayor of Naga City expressed her gratitude with the remark "We appreciate the kind support that THI has provided in response to the landslides that hit Naga." Deed of donation issued by Philippines government was granted to THI.
Aiming to develop hand-in-hand with the local people, THI has since its establishment in 1994 been focused on CSR activities that include not only disaster relief but also construction of schools and hospitals. We will continuously make efforts to contribute to local society by conducting CSR activities.
