- The Split-up of Tsuneishi Holdings - Tsuneishi Holdings to Become a Holding Company and Will Spin Off 7 Operational Companies
Tsuneishi Holdings Inc. (Headquarters: 1083, Tsuneishi, Numakuma-cho, Fukuyama city, Hiroshima, President Katsushige Kambara) will become a holding company at the beginning of January, 2011 and will spin off 7 operational companies.
Some of the existing in-house companies will be reorganized to form 5 new companies and the others will be merged into two existing group companies. Tsuneishi Holdings, which spins off these companies, will be the shareholder for all companies.
By dividing into a shareholding company, which acts as the group headquarters charged with the promotion of consolidated management, and operational companies, which are responsible for respective operations, the governance system will be reorganized and bolstered, wide ranging authority will be transferred to the operational companies in order to create a structure capable of providing for a rapid and appropriate decision making. Furthermore, we intend to eliminate duplication in our business and create an efficient and functional organization.
