Shipping Operations
Our marine shipping operations include regular services directly between China's major ports and Japan's regional ports, irregular services with bulk carriers, shipping of materials and equipment to the Tsuneishi Shipbuilding factories in Cebu and Zhoushan, and the marine transportation of accommodation blocks from the Zhoushan factory. In addition, together with our other ship and port businesses centered on towing and coastal shipping, we are engaged in general distribution service business based at the Kambara-Kisen Fukuyama Distribution Center. We also operate passenger liners between islands of the Seto Inland Sea.

Strategy and Guidelines
In addition to our regular shipping services between Japan and China, we launched in 2008 a partnership with RCL (Thailand), Southeast Asia's largest shipping company, in order to break into the rapidly growing Southeast Asian market. In this way our cargo business is expanding not only in China but also in Southeast Asia.
